After serving three terms as OCSTA (Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association) Director representing York Region, I was honoured to be elected by my fellow trustees to serve as Vice-President, representing Catholic School Trustees from all 29 Catholic school boards across Ontario.
This provincial leadership role gives me the opportunity to work alongside trustees from across the province and be at the forefront of advocating for, protecting, and strengthening publicly funded Catholic education for generations to come.
We are at a defining moment for publicly funded Catholic education in Ontario—and how we lead right now matters.
Our system is a remarkable gift, but it requires us to be clear in our purpose, strong in our advocacy, and united in our commitment to protecting it. In times like this, we are called not just to serve, but to step up and defend what we believe in.
This moment calls for leadership that speaks clearly, advocates confidently, acts with conviction, and unapologetically stands up for Catholic education.
I’m not stepping back from this work—I’m leaning in, with even greater determination to protect and advocate for our system.
